If interested in joining a group, please call the hotline for information. A phone interview will be conducted to protect members' privacy and confidentiality.
-
The groups meet weekly for 1.5 hours.
-
Groups are held in confidential locations in several towns in our region.
-
A trained staff member or volunteer leads the support group.
-
Group members talk about their experiences and share ideas for safety planning. They learn about abusive and controlling behaviors, community support programs, how to talk to the police, the law, their rights, etc.
-
The purpose of the support group is to re-build self-esteem so that each woman feels empowered to make her own decisions and direct her own life.
-
Childcare is available for all groups.
-
Interval House-sponsored groups

Womenshare - for women who are living with abuse, leaving the abuse, or re-living the abuse.
-

-
Women on the Rise - for women mandated by the Dept. of Children and Families to attend a DV support group.
-
Comparte Mujer - a "Womanshare" group for Spanish-speaking women.
